*~*~*~*~*  June Offerings  *~*~*~*~*

The weather has finally warmed up a bit to be able to start putting my gardens in order and spend some quality time outside, it really rejuvenates me and gets me more creative. I hope you enjoy my offerings this month.

Each of the samplers that I make are my own One-Of-A-Kind designs, made without patterns, just a simple needle and thread and away I go, putting love into every stitch. Some of them have intentional mistakes and/or missing letters as old samplers might have had.

Blessings to all!

Catherine Ashton 1799

This stunning sampler will look just right in your home. It has been stitched onto antique linen that has been heavily aged and distressed. It was stitched by Catherine Ashton in 1799.

She has stitched a partial alphabet along the top as well as her name, dividing bands, several antique motifs and a beautiful arched motif with the date located inside.

It has been framed in an antique frame behind the original glass. The frame has an aged gold and cream paint as well as some etchings around the edges. It  measures 10 1/2" x 12 1/2". It is paperbacked and has tiny copper nails and wire for hanging. It has been signed and dated by myself on the back.

Set of 4 Primitive Pinkeeps and Wooden plate

This such a cute set. I have used antique linen to make these little pinkeeps. The linen has been heavily aged and distressed.

2 of the pinkeeps have floral motifs, one has stylized peacock and one has the word 'blessed' stitched on it.

They range in size from 2" x 2 1/2" for the smallest to 3" x 3 1/2" for the largest one. Each has been backed in a warm dark taupe wool. I have also added a small safety pin and tiny antique shell buttons to each.

These come displayed on a wooden/treenware plate from Old Sturbridge Village, In Sturbridge, Massachusetts. The plate measures 10 1/4' in diameter
